Thonging in the UK

I am sure that this has been asked before..... Are there any beaches in the UK where I can easily wear my thong swimwear?

Hey ‘Thongman’

You can wear a thong on ANY beach in the UK, there is no law that says you can’t, as for wearing one easily, that very much depends on the vibe of the beach. Pick one that is family orientated and not so much, pick a quiet one and away you go.

As I’m not familiar with the west coast I can’t recommend one but here on the south coast you’d have zero problems, Brighton, Hove & New Haven are all very chilled.

Brighton is always a good bet if you don’t want to be the only one, most days you’ll find a few guys in thongs along the beach, mainly past the band stand and toward the Hove end.
Once you hit Shoreham Port they become a lot more popular but be aware of voyeurs.
These days I tend to hit New Haven, never had a problem even if I’m wearing one of my TINY one-siders……
