What do you use to get the best tan?

Just curious what you all use Lotions, oils, etc to get tan. I am currently using 2 different lotions I used in the tanning bed. Getting some results, but I would like your input.

I either use baby oil or a tanning oil that has no spf protection. Tanning as often as possible even if it is only 30 minutes or an hour per day also helps. On weekends I spend at least 3 hours by the pool. By the end of summer I usually have really good results.

If I go to the Beach after 2 or 3 PM, I avoid getting a sunburn.

A few years back I approached Val at ‘rubbertreelatex.com’ and asked her if she would be interested in custom making a few, very brief, latex one-sided thongs for me.

I was after the most well defined, most unique tan line I could possibly get, so as latex allows zero UV through and the one-sided design was the most unique you can get I naturally put the two together and Val came up trumps!!!!

When my first order arrived, 5 of the suits were latex and attached to the bag they were in Val had included this warning notice……..

“As I know from our communications, as you are planning to wear these latex suits to tan in, under NO circumstances use a standard, petroleum based tanning oil or lotion, any one of them will destroy your suit in minutes……. You MUST use either coconut or olive oil instead!

Having been a baby oiler for many years I immediately changed over to coconut oil and I have to say I’ve found the results to be just as good and it doesn’t rot you’re suits!!!!

I suppose this is a ver individual question on tanning. To get the best tan, nude is the answer. But if you want tan lines, it depends on what you like! I like thong lines…a 1/2” strap around the side and the t-strap above my butt…I think that’s hot.

We have Reef oil in Australia which comes with a zero SPF & has a super sexy coconut smell. A little goes a long way & makes your skin so golden & shiny. BEST. OIL. EVER.

I’ve been using a coconut oil based tanning oil with no SPF…petroleum based baby oil works but is horrible for your body.
a long lasting, deep dark tan takes dedication of being in the sun as much as possible without over doing it each session and and getting a sunburn. Having a spray bottle of water can help to cool your skin off and keep it hydrated but be careful with that because it can also magnify the sun’s rays.
tanning beds are good for evening out your tan and when the sun isn’t shining but the tan you get from them doesn’t seem to last as long as the tan you get from the sun
