When is a thong too tight?

Skinfit is having a 50% sale right now and it made me think about the suits that I own from that brand. I have a few Skinfit thongs and briefs in size M and the waist fits fine (tight enough that brief or thong doesn't rise up or droop down when wearing) and the thong strap isn't digging into my hole. The pouch isn't so big and fortunately my penis is slightly smaller than average and so it's not super uncomfortable. My concern comes when I think about my balls. They sit within the pouch very snugly and if there is some discomfort, I can do a quick adjustment with the fabric. Is my thong too tight?

I’ve learned certain brands fit better based on material and the cut. I have thongs with a flatter pouch if I’m wearing dress pants and don’t want my bulge showing and I know male power has styles I love but smaller pouches.

It's too tight when I can't sit down comfortably. I personally hate "flat" pouches, so I'd never even consider one without a roomy pouch. But I've had them in the past when the bottom strap is so short, that it causes considerable discomfort when sitting. I ended up altering bottom strap & back to improve the fit/feel. But most definitely, it's too small when it becomes uncomfortable to wear for any length of time.

Agree with the commentary about being too tight if you can’t wear a thong for several hours OR if you can’t comfortably sit down. I mean, it can be tight if you’re wearing it to get or while you’re receiving .
But generally i don’t like flat front suits and cotton…i like elastic/spandex and form fitting...really depends on the maker, cut and clearly material!

If it fits comfortably without adjustment or you can adjust it to fit comfortably, it's perfectly fine for you. I've bought a few that no matter what, they didn't fit comfortably at all. Either the waist was too tight, the rise in back was too short and made the pouch tight, or the pouch was just too small to contain my cock and/or balls, especially when flaccid.

Exactly…all down to personal preference. I can wear a tight fitting JS bulge thong all day when walking around, doing errands, going to the gym etc. but when sitting on a very long flight, i might want a slightly looser Ergowear thong or skinz etc

I like it tight but usually when it’s tight the pouch is small. I have difficulty packing it all in a JS Rio so anything smaller is a challenge although I’ve tried wearing one such publicly and someone remarked I “might as well not bother”…

If a thong makes me hard without making my hole sore, then it's perfect! It needs to be comfortable enough to wear all day. My current favorite thongs are the John Sievers and 2(X)ist Y-backs.

I wish those 2(x)ist Y-back things were made of spandex instead of cotton. I also wish they didn't come up so high on the front. I used to wear them very frequently, but I guess I've grown more towards spandex and low rise.
