One of my pet peeves as an underwear enthusiast is the obvious sexism on many straight lingerie sites. While their extensive women’s lines of lingerie are what I would call high end designer wear with beautiful lace and silk that accent a women’s beautiful and unique features like their breasts and curves, but then you look at the men’s section and it’s becomes pretty obvious what these companies think about a man’s dick and balls when all they can do is treat it like a joke with all their tacky novelty underwear. It’s pretty disgraceful and disrespectful and as an expert in all things male and below the waist, I can tell you that a guys gear is equally as beautiful and diversified. Just to emphasize how ridiculous all the novelty underwear is I’ve collected a sampling.

If you ever find yourself toying with the idea of buying one of these things, slap yourself and get yourself over to a reputable men’s underwear store. Here’s a list of men’s underwear stores - complete with reviews to make your job even easier.

Known for their fetish wear, Nasty Pig is breaking ground into the mainstream underwear market. Well, sort of. I’m not really sure how mainstream having the words nasty pig emblazoned across your waistband is, but from a style and quality point of view, their new briefs and boxer briefs blow most other designers away, and they’re sure to do the same to you.

Constructed of a heavy duty cotton/lycra blend in contrasting white and grey, or black and grey, this underwear is first class. As with all Nasty Pig products, quality is better then most.

All four new Nasty Pig Underwear designs along with new T-shirts and a newly designed incredibly sexy classic jock are now all available over on Jockstrap Central. This stuff is selling like hot cakes so get over there while you can.

As for the hunky new model, he’s Paulo. He was visiting Toronto from Portugal. Adrian was driving up the street and when he saw Paulo hanging outside the local coffee shop, he almost had an accident. Boldly, he parked the car and walked up to him and gave him his card.

I just want to say, approaching models this way, generally doesn’t work. They just think you’re trying to hit on them. Maybe it’s the laid back European attitude, but Paulo was all for it. The rest as you can see by these photos, was underwear history.

Reality TV star TJ Wilks kicks off the hot and sexy “Some Things Are Better With Attitude” advertising campaign for Andrew Christian in a big way! TJ a rising star in the modeling industry was discovered on the Janice Dickinson Modeling Agency TV Show

TJ is modelling the Sailor Boxer Brief (the striped number) and a couple from the Color Block briefs series.

I’m not sure how “butch” these actually are, but I’ll give them an easy “sexy” and even a “hot.” Butch has just launched their spring 2007 line of swimwear with a huge spread of photos.

My only problem is that here in the northern hemisphere we’re into fall heading into winter and having to look at these hotties wearing next to nothing is just criminal. I hate winter!
