Daniel Alexander questionable quality

I recently got some DA g-strings from mensuas.com and I immediately noticed a fit inconsistency issue among colors of the DAL030 style.

Purple is tighter than blue and black and the black fits perfectly in the pouch. After 2 weeks of use, I'm finding the items are already stretching out and I only hand wash with hang dry.

Anyone have the same experience?

I'm fairly disappointed.

I have several DA suits and found size inconsistencies as well. I placed one order for three different suits all in M from Mensuas and one of them was definitely size L even though the tag said M. I ended up getting a needle and thread out stitching a tuck in the crutch reducing it by about 1 inch. They fitted quite well after this. They are not quite as brief as I would like because they are still cut for a bigger person than me but I like the design and the style. I also love the soft pouch design in DA suits which give a good shaped bulge even if (like me) you don't have a huge cock. I have no complaints about the quality and do like a lot of the DA designs. This is the DA See Through Back Bikini I was describing. IMG_2090.JPG IMG_2116.JPG

mensuas is something similar to a dropshipping company, meaning they have deals with some brands, by buying bulk and selling on all platforms. These are not handmade like tangaland, mensview or jovana, so by getting stuff from mensuas you can expect to get different sizing as most of the brands have different sizing.

I've bought few in the past and I've noticed a lot of difference in every single product in sizing, stretchiness and even in quality, and that happens because they are not the guys who made it, so even the support can't really help you.

So basically thats why the prices are low and always running on 60-70% sales. You can get china products in the same quality and even cheaper. - You never know what, in which size and what quality you will get. :ROFLMAO:

Had a feeling. Can you suggest a better brand?

Most of the stuff I have are from the 3 brands I have listed in my previous post. Recently Im sticking with mensview (mensview.eu) as I like to have some things customised, like different back styles and different pouch sizes, and they do that free of charge.

I would advise on finding a brand that suits you and stick with it, as in that case you will always know what to expect and if you for some reason decide to change something and your desired brand will do it, then in that case you could always come back for different fabrics etc and know what you need to be changed.

I used to have the same problem, getting stuff around the world and ending up not wearing half of the products because they didn't fit me as I like, so thats how I end up getting stuff from 1-2 brands and after creating an order, sending an email saying "please do as usual" is enough without going on and on what has to be changed again.

I've had some fit issues with buying different colors of the same models of underwear from several manufacturers. Some fit perfectly while others are more snug or more loose fitting. In addition, different colors also have different pliability, which contributes to the fit. There were a few things that after wearing twice, I threw them away because they were just too uncomfortable.

Same here. After 3 wearings if my DA g's, I threw them away. Sad. Such a waste of money.

Agree. I stopped buying mass/entry level brands many years ago. Premium brands cost more but view them as an investment. I've spent an embarrassing amount on Tangaland and Wickedweasel this year but feel happy each time I put em on... So guess it's worth it.

Ill-fitting underwear is the worst lol!

So Skiviez, Daniel Alexander, Edipous, Michael, Intymen, Kyle, Feel, Cover Male, Secret Male, Hung, and a handful of others are all owned/made by parent company Underwear Station. Some brands mimic other established brands - for example, Edipous? mimics Ergowear.

They have a Vimeo channel showing some of their styles. All of those ^^^ product comes from Columbia I believe. I've often wondered if it's not some kind of drug/money laundering scheme. 😂

They sell on Skivez, Mensuas, Erogenous, and the other branded websites. They do sell some other brands too, but mostly their "house" brands.

I've been relatively happy with my purchases there. Some haven't fit well, but that's mostly due to the style's pouch designs being flatter than I would like. Or meshy fabric fronts being uncomfortable. The sewing/construction quality has always been pretty good from what I I've bought anyway. Then again, I don't buy many G-strings, and to be honest, G-strings aren't the most robust anyway...

They do sell quite a bit of varied styles there, and I've found a few styles that they sell that I really like.

(I do understand that this site is funded by jockstrap central, and I try to window shop there to return the favor someday.)

In my experience Daniel Alexander used to be a bit better quality when they were making more colors and varieties of their gstrings, like the ones in this photo. image.jpg

Don’t get me wrong, they are still inexpensive, but some of the older items they had seemed to hold up better- then the quality dropped a few years ago and the cut out a bunch of their and my fav colors in the above fit. Even the colors they kept around felt cheaper and not as elastic and wore out quicker.

A shame because sometimes budget is an issue and I absolutely loved the fit and wide range of colors of these strings. They really form to my body well just like my older Joe Snyder gstring without too much fabric and my favorite sized straps (tiny and colorful).

Joe Snyder Gstrings have also taken a plunge in quality as my last order had most I’ll fitting due to improper shape of the pouch. Extremely unfortunate as I love the pouches and colors they used to have available, especially the poly pink gstrings. I’ve worn through a few pairs just from stroking my hard cock in them so much but they last a long time. Now I’m hesitant to spend 20/gstring just to have it be super tall or not fit like they used to make them.

When I have my plug in and cock ring on I get hard simply because of the gstring. Really wish I lived near a nude beach so I could publicly wear these!

Like others have mentioned, I’ve starting switching to other smaller brands- primarily companies like Skinzwear, Iswimfashion and Microgigi. Kind of been getting into womans gstrings more but is hit or miss depending on sizing and fit, but it seems like less and less male oriented underwear companies are making tiny slim gstrings likes these and are focusing on thongs with decent amount of fabric- not my taste as I’m a tall slim guy so the tinier/sluttier stringier the better!

If anyone wants to talk more over video about strings/wants to see any feel free to add me on snap, always looking for new brands and is always good to see how they fit before buying- my Snapchat is xxxxkyle
