Are .GIF motion images not supported in albums? It doesn't seem to allow uploading them.

I've been able to upload GIFs into my albums. There is a max size, however (I just don't recall what that max size is).

They are allowed. As @Cocky-Cdn mentioned, there's a maximum file size. The max size for any attachment in the forums or photo in the Gallery or Personal Album is 10 MB. The other restriction is that the photo can't be any larger than 2000 pixels by 2000 pixels.
Those sizes are pretty generous. If an animated GIF was any larger it would take forever to load and most guys wouldn't wait for it. They're not like videos which show something while they buffer, GIFS don't display anything until the whole thing loads.
@Cocky-Cdn 's animated GIFS are generally between 1 and 3 Megabytes and they always look good!

I can't upload gifs anywhere on the site.
They're all under 10mb, and smaller than 400x400. I've tried to upload them to posts, and my Albums, but they just won't take. Either they get to 100% then show the error message, or they get to 100% then simply don't appear.
I've done it in the past, but it's been a couple years since then. Has anything changed that I don't know of?
