Having taken numerous cruises, you will see pretty much anything. It’s your vacation. If you and your bf are comfortable and used to wearing speedos, go for it. Take an extra pair of something more conservative if that makes you feel more comfortable, even if you never wear them. Also, if it’s a European trip, you’ll see different things compared to the Caribbean. Enjoy the trip, and if you have a balcony, enjoy that as well.

I have been on many cruises, no one pays any attention to people they don't know. "You will never see these people again" There is usually a top deck above the pool deck where you can tan in peace with other adults. Older guys like me are "invisible" and can wear whatever they like.

I've never been on a cruise, but I'd love to attend one. I always wondered if you can get a thong tan line, or if there'd be an objection to it. I've seen gay cruises, which I have to imagine allow it, but I don't know about the ones that sail out of New Orleans.

I have never been on one either , but have thought about going on a gay cruise , I’m sure you could be in a thong or string the hole time !

I'd take a back-up suit just in case. The pa may bring more of an issue than the suit. People are funny. They think the ship is totally theirs. I still say it's your vacation. Enjoy! Please keep us updated on how it goes and if you had a great time. Thanks.

My suits and thons are lined, to show a flat front or a smooth rounded front, no VPL. I like snug-fitting suits, so they can be super skimpy without getting any comments or notice.

Hi again, I would take a second swim brief because Speedos can be difficult to put on again, for whatever reason, when they're wet.

I’ve always wanted to go on a cruise, but from what people tell me, every time you turn around they’re handing you a bill for something you thought you already paid for. I dunno, when I start getting the impression I’m being treated as somebody else’s ATM machine, it’s real turn off for me.

That said, there’s all sorts of cruises out there. If I could find a “you won’t feel like you’re getting ripped off” one, I’d be totally up for it.

And yeah, I’d think a balcony room is a must! I wanna spend my days lounging around in something like this ...

I've been looking at gay cruises, and yes, I want to be comfortable that they're not up-selling everything aboard. If I'm going to take a cruise to a good climate, I definitely want to return with a thong tan line.

Yes it’s a swimsuit it’s a has a draw string to keep it tight so it can’t slide down
It’s from Europe and is the European made speedo
You can order them from traderout in San Diego
Of they also sell on eday under tradeout the speedo sold in the us are a different cut than the European or Japanese made swimsuits

Lucky I wore a cheap bikini in the Hot Tub. The chemicals were strong enough to fade the suit in just a few soaks. At least I didn't lose my tan as well. Bring an old suit for that. The Ocean is salt water which does not damage any suit, I can use the same suits for years.

Just curious, does anyone have any experience going on a saltyboys cruise. Much smaller of a boat/group (like 10-20 people) but looks like it’d be perfect for a thong/nude filled time on the water.

Many years ago, Riis Park Beach allowed nudity, and it seemed only the guys in worst shape would be nude. The really good-looking guys wore bikinis. Same at a gay campground in the Poconos more recently. At least in a large area you can roam to another area, you can't do that on a small boat with a small group. Be careful what you wish for.

Yeah I hear you..most of my suits are thongs with bulge pouches. They’re small so I always bring 5-6 with me to change things up
