I’ve been away for a bit, and I have shared why with a couple of you, and I think it’s time to share with everyone. Last fall I got a visit at my home from a state trooper. I wasn’t home so he left a handwritten note asking me to call him. I had no idea what he might want, so I called with no hesitation. When we spoke, he told me that there had been a report that I was driving naked. He then said that there was nothing they could do with this accusation. Those of you here know that I was not naked, but wearing only a thong while in my convertible. I denied being naked in my car and he said that if it were true I should not do it in the future. He was hoping to embarrass me with my family otherwise why bother following up on something that you could not build a case around. I have taken a pause which isn’t hard in the winter in New England. But now the weather is improving and the itch is back and I just need to be a bit more careful. TS
