I have to admit, I've never been into loose boxers for myself but have been attracted to guys in them, especially older guys, I suspect it has something to do with being in my 50s and the images of manly masculine men growing up were Burt Reynolds (especially in the spread for Cosmopolitan where he's nude). Tom Selleck and my first ever gay crush, Pierce Bronson in Remington Steele and the Marlboro Man.

In this age of gender identity, gender fluidity, etc... I find masculinity can be an almost toxic term but the truth is, my interpretation of what is masculine is something that was developed through my youth and there's no taking that away from me. But do find it's sometimes better kept to myself.

Today, what I find sexy is much broader than what I find masculine as I get as turned on by a older hairy guy in a jockstrap as I do by a younger tattooed guy in some sports fetish gear by Cellblock 13 and any guy in a sexy pair of mesh skimpy undies makes me spring an instant boner.

There's no real point to my rambling other than to say...

Thank you! As also a man in his 50s I'm a product of the American culture of the 1960s, 70s, and 80s. My Dad, a WWII Veteran, always wore boxer shorts. I never saw him wear anything else. Also, as kid I was a big fan of WWII action adventure movies and of course all the macho men in those films wore boxers. The scenes where those hyper-masculine men would be in the Army barracks, or Navy berthing compartment, in their underwear would get me horny as Hell. Late at night I'd masturbate while fantasizing about them. Where I grew up in the 1970s ALL boys wore classic white briefs. Boxer shorts were what "old" men wore. But, after I turned 16 I started wearing boxers on days I didn't have gym class. When I enlisted in the US Navy I switched over to boxers completely, and they've been my favorite preference since. Now and then I'll buy some briefs for playtime; I find men in classic white briefs very sexually attractive, too. Of course everyone looks HOT in a jock. How it nicely frames the ass!

Variety is the spice of life! I love seeing younger guys in any underwear and some older guys look great in bikinis and thongs. It's great to live in a time when people can identify with who they really are and don't have to be afraid or in the closet anymore. I lived for too many years in terror that I'd be outed. I'm very content being a gay, bald, chubby, daddy-bear, and I wish for everyone to live free, in peace, and be happy.

TommyD you look great in your classic white boxers. I have an observation - when growing up (I'm 72) in the NE boys wore white briefs and t-shirts and men wore boxers. I was curious and eventually tried on my dad's - I was in high school at the time. Has anyone else done this?
