Looking back on the situation, the neighbors calling the Sheriff was probably the best thing that could have happened to us! For one it broke the ice with our neighbors, and us being nudist with our entire cul-de-sac. Everyone knew we are nudist, there were no minor kids on the street, we were the only ones under 50. The Sheriff’s Department knew we had been victims to a wrongful situation and didn’t want to repeat such an embarrassing situation, so we aren’t privy to if they were ever called on us for any of our nudist activities. We never really bothered to hide our nudity, nor would we flaunt it. If we needed to check the mail or sign for a package and we were nude we did. If the yard work needed attention and we were nude we would do it. Actually once the neighbors who initially called the Sheriff needed help moving a new TV and she came over and I was in the pool and asked her if she could give me a few minutes to get dressed and she laughed and said “you are fine the way you are! I don’t want to bother you anymore than I have to” So we went over naked and while I helped her move the TV her elderly mother and her sister were waiting in the living room holding the double doors open. She introduced us to them and we chatted as normal. The only direct question about our nudity was that the mother wondered why we didn’t have any body hair.
