I was caught

Living in warm climates and being an avid minimal swimwear wearer and nudist I have been Caught! countless times, by friends, family, neighbors and strangers, but one particularly funny and interesting incidents of being caught was. We had just purchased a new house with an in-ground pool in Arizona. The house was semi-private on an acre with a 5' block wall fence around the back yard. So the day we were moving in and waiting for our furiture to be delivered in a few days we decided to paint a few rooms while the house was empty. It was June in Arizona and we had no window treatments and were waiting for blind installer to come by in the afternoon, so my wife and I decided we were going to take advantage of our new pool and get some sun.

What we didn't know was the neighbor next door had been watching the house while it was vacant and she didn't know we had taken ownership of our new house.

Since we had a private yard we undressed in the house and went out to our pool completely nude and as we were swimming the neighbor noticed our cars in the driveway and she decided to investigate, and when she did she heard us in the pool swimming and talking. Thinking we were intruding on the property she decided to call the local Sheriff's office to report a home invasion.

So unbeknownst to us a few minutes later 4 Sheriff's deputies showed up at our house ready to take down to home invaders....lol One rang the doorbell at the front door, one at our side door and one at each gate to our fenced in yard, so when I heard the doorbell thinking the blind installer was a few hours early I got out of the pool to go answer the door, then I remembered we didn't have any towels, but as I was walking to the door two deputies came through our side gates and yelled FREEZE! as I stood on our deck of our pool and my wife layed face up spread eagle on a raft in our pool. Then the other two deputies came running around the house for back-up.

So then I'm asked for ID and why I was in MY POOL! I told them we just signed the papers for the house and my ID was in the house in my pants. So as I'm escorted into my house the papers were on our counter and then I was followed into my bedroom to produce my ID. SO after I showed we were the lawful owners the Deputy apologized for the sim-understanding. Then I walked back outside still nude to see my wife still floating on the raft and she was still laying with her legs spread wide open and the other 3 deputies were just standing there staring at her, before the one in charge called his guys off and told my wife sorry for the inconvenience and that they would be leaving now.

Not thinking about still being nude we walked them out to the gate to their cars, and see our new neighbor standing in her driveway trying to see what's going on. As the Sheriff's leave we walk over and introduce ourselves and she has a shocked look on her face, and just then we realized we were in her driveway completely nude and 4 shefiff deputies were backing out of our driveway. That's OK, I was just kidding around! I have friends there myself. Too damn hot for me, but they like it!

I like it better than the heat and humidity in New York and Florida during the summer and the New York winters can be brutal.

Outside of the cops, that’s an interesting way to meet one of your neighbors. Did you have other neighbors come over to introduce themselves during the initial move in time frame? When people do come over, do you just stay naked since they know that you are nudists? Also, where in Arizona do you live?

Actually during the summer we only have 2 others that occupy their house, so the neighbors who called the Sheriff and a gay couple across the street. The gay couple watched the situation from their house as we talked and introduced ourselves to the neighbors. Then a few days later when we were coming home we met the gay couple and they said they were sorry for what we had happen to us. So we thanked them for their support and they said that they didn’t have any issues with us being nudists. So having the “Green Light “ we never worried about our outside nudity, like washing cars, yard maintenance, checking mail.

Actually during the summer we only have 2 others that occupy their house, so the neighbors who called the Sheriff and a gay couple across the street. The gay couple watched the situation from their house as we talked and introduced ourselves to the neighbors. Then a few days later when we were coming home we met the gay couple and they said they were sorry for what we had happen to us. So we thanked them for their support and they said that they didn’t have any issues with us being nudists. So having the “Green Light “ we never worried about our outside nudity, like washing cars, yard maintenance, checking mail.

Yeah I joined AANR, American association nude recreation. Haven't gone nude in public yet. Planned to over the summer but didn't get anywhere. Maybe over the winter theres some places in the Poconos open all year.

That is cool that your neighbors don’t have an issue with your nudity and basically giving you the ok to be naked indoors and outdoors.

The location has a lot to do with the situation, it's not like we live in a close quarter high density development. We live in a small development with around 50 total houses that are all on a minimum of a 1 acre lot. The majority of the homes are winter homes for Snow Birds, and the development is mainly surrounded by BLM land and private desert. We are roughly 30 miles outside of Tucson, so no local PD. So we fall under the county Sheriff's dept, and honestly they probably have better things to do than to respond to someone calling in seeing a neighbor washing a car nude in 100+ degree weather, in a small development that has very few minor's and none on our Cul-de-Sac. The natural answer to such a complaint would be , if you don't like seeing that, close your blinds, or don't look! Because if they take pictures it now becomes voyeurism, and unless it is witnessed be the Sheriff it's hearsay, if the Sheriff hides in wait it becomes entrapment, not worth the resources of the department.

plus, in the summer most people are only outside early morning, late evening or traveling to and from their homes, and most people have their blinds closed to keep the hot sun out trying to keep their energy bills down. Also we live on the western end of the Cul-de-Sac and anyone living in the desert knows to keep their west facing windows closed in the afternoon to keep the heat out.

So usually when we are encountered by someone when washing a car or getting mail, it's our neighbors who don't have an issue with us "providing them eye-candy" or the occasional person who mistakenly turns down our Cul-de-Sac. Funny thing one Sunday afternoon a couple came down our Cul-de-Sac three times before stopping and approaching us while we were washing the car, because the husband told the wife we were naked washing the car, and the wife swore we were just wearing Tiny swimsuits in skin-tone color. So one the third go-round they actually stopped to act like they were looking for and address. So when I turned to address their question the wife smiled and said to her husband the HE WAS RIGHT. Then out of curiosity they asked if we afraid of being arrested, and we laughed and said for what wasting water...lol

They told us they were looking at moving away from the city and wanted somewhere quieter and more peaceful to live, we told them we loved the little development. So we chatted for a few minutes until we were starting to roast in the sun, and told them we needed to go cool off in the pool, and said they were welcome to join us if they liked, but we don't permit swimsuits in our pool to keep it cleaner. The wife laughed and said that wouldn't be a problem because they didn't have swimsuits with them anyway.

I wasn't raised a nudist, but I grew up in the country to older parents and was a change of life baby, and pretty much grew up as an only child. So even though my parents weren't nudist's we didn't have A/C so I was naked inside and outside the house all summer long, well past puberty into my college years. Actually my mother even would buy and wash my G-string underwear when I lived at home, and as a young adult I would walk around the house in a G-string most of the time after a shower or in the morning before getting dressed, and if I was going to sunbathe I would do so nude on the back porch, even with girlfriends in my teens and early 20's

We aren't AANR members, but we have been to a few AANR resorts, and I highly advise going to one, it's a great atmosphere and a fun time hanging out with like minded people in a safe nudist environment

Yes, they have come over and hung out during BBQ's while we were nude, and have hung out with us, but have never swam in our pool "their choice, not ours" She is a bigger woman who had weight loss surgery and doesn't have the self esteem to go nude

You have the same rules I had when I had a pool , no suits and a seasonal outdoor shower to wash up before going for a swim!
We have been to nudist resorts and there are always a few who at first are shy then they loosen up!
I will say I think what your doing makes me a lil envious but also pleased you can be yourselves!

My mom lives in Tucson also, closer to the mountains away from the main part of the city. She has her windows covered and the screen door to the backyard is covered to keep the heat out. She goes out early in the morning around 6-7am for a walk and tries to get everything done outdoors before noon.
